INSTALLATION 1 - Check the vehicle manufacturer's manual for correct installation and tensioning of the product. 2 - Consult the Gates catalog for correct identification of the application. 3 - Preventatively check the condition of your vehicle's belt, as well as all components related to the system, such as tensioners, bearings, pulleys and gears, among others, annually or every 10,000 km. 4 - Clean the pulleys before installing the new belt. 5 - Replace the belt whenever there is a need to change components related to the system, such as tensioners, bearings, pulleys and gears, among others, at the risk of premature breakage of the product. 6 - The belt assembly and disassembly must follow the ABNT NBR 15759-2009 standard. 7 - Failure to observe the previous items will exclude the product from the warranty. 8 - Product warranty in accordance with the CDC article 26 Clause II. 9 - For information on belt replacement mileage, please consult the vehicle manufacturer's instruction manual.
